Fall Festivals & Events

Fall is an amazing time to explore in the mountains of North Ga. Cool and crisp temperatures make it the perfect season to escape to a cozy cabin in the Mountains! Drive scenic routes, hike the stunning trail to Anna Ruby Falls, enjoy a beer at Oktoberfest, or take in one of the many fall festivals in and around Helen.
Christmas in Helen

Helen does Christmas right! The village architecture and holiday lights are so lovely visitors come from all over to see the Annual Lighting of the Village, Lighted Parades and Christkindlmarkt! Enjoy German beer and cuisine, live music, shop for German-styled Christmas gifts, Appalachian arts, and award-winning wines from our local vineyards!

Winter in the North Ga mountains in a special time, take in a winter festival, Arts and Crafts Show, or celebrate Fasching – German Mardi Gras! Or enjoy the view while sitting by the fireplace in a warm cozy cabin. The magical season is not over in the village of Helen, Ga – the lights will be up until mid-February!
